How can we help?
Write to [email protected] — a real person answers, usually within a day. Beta testers can also send feedback with a screenshot straight from TestFlight.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?”. We email you a 6-digit code; type it in with a new password and you are signed in. No email after a few minutes? Check spam, then write to us.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Your data. Export gives your log as a spreadsheet that opens in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets: every food with its time, meal, amount and note, or a line a day with the totals, for 30 days, 90 days or everything. Export everything gives all your data as one file. Both open the share sheet, so you can save to Files, AirDrop or email it to yourself or your coach.
How do I switch to kJ, or to dark mode?
Settings → Units → Energy: kcal or kJ, and every number in Bite follows, widgets too. Settings → Appearance: Phone follows your iPhone’s light or dark setting; Light or Dark keeps one. The appearance is kept on that iPhone only.
How does the fasting window work?
Turn it on in Settings → Fasting and pick 14:10, 16:8, 18:6 or your own. There is nothing to start or stop: the fast begins at the last food you log and ends at your first, and Home shows how far along you are. Bite can tell you when it is done, and coffee or tea under 20 kcal need not break it. Fasting is not for everyone: if you are pregnant, have diabetes or have had an eating disorder, talk to a doctor first.
Can I copy a meal to another day?
Hold the meal on Home and choose Copy to… or Move to…, then pick the day and the meal. Copy logs it again there; Move changes where it is. Either can be undone.
How do meal reminders work?
Settings → Reminders. Give breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack their own time and days. A reminder skips itself once that meal has food in it, so it only nudges when you forgot.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. Your data and photos are deleted straight away. This cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
I signed in with Apple and see an odd email address
If you chose “Hide My Email”, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your own. It still reaches you, and you can manage it in your Apple ID settings.
How many AI logs do I get?
Three a week on the free plan, from Monday to Sunday: reading a photo, a description or a label each counts as one. Searching, scanning a barcode and adding by hand never count, and when the three are used your photo stays for you to pick the food from search. Bite Pro: as many as you eat.
What is free, and what is in Bite Pro?
Free: logging every way, 3 AI logs a week, your plan and how it works, calories, macros, sugar, salt and your two lowest vitamins, this week’s trends, supplements, fasting, reminders and the basic Home widgets. Pro adds AI logging as much as you eat, Build a meal, menu scan, the fridge, recipes from a link or a photo, Siri logging anything with AI, smart targets, days that differ, every vitamin and mineral, trends over months, your burn over time and the Pro widgets. Food needs and allergy marks, exporting and deleting your data, and accessibility are never locked.
What happens when my Pro week ends?
It ends by itself: there is no card to add and nothing to cancel, and it never turns into a paid plan. Everything you logged stays, and you carry on with the free plan. Bite Pro is there if you want it.
How do I cancel Bite Pro?
Pro is billed by Apple, so it is cancelled there: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bite Pro. Do it at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I speak in my own language?
Yes. Tap the mic in Describe and talk; to change the language, go to Settings → Speak in. Nothing is logged until you tap to work out the macros.
The AI got my meal wrong
Tap any item on the result screen to fix its name, weight or macros before logging, or add something it missed. Wrong items after logging can be edited from Home.
